Making Miracles Happen This Weekend!

We kick off the Children's Miracle Network Celebration on Friday night at 8:00pm. The telethon will air until 11:35pm and then we will take a break until Sunday, so while you may watch French Open Tennis and College Rugby on Saturday, we will not be able to air these on Sunday. We are allow to air Best Friends Forever and Dateline NBC on WITN 7.2 (Me-TV/MyTV).. but not NBC Sports programming.. read on for details.........

Friday?????????? 6/01

We will have some adjustments in our schedule this evening. The Children's Miracle Network Celebration (Telethon) will air live on WITN 7.1 from the auditorium at the Brody School of Medicine from 8:00pm - 11:30pm. Our NBC programming will move over to WITN 7.2 (Me-TV/MyTV) (available on Suddenlink 138, Time-Warner 121, Mediacom 5, Tri-County 10 and Charter 136)?with two episodes of the half-hour sitcom Best Friends Forever at 8:00pm and 8:30pm and now?a 2-hour?Dateline NBC at?9:00pm in which Dennis Murphy has the story of a Iowa mother of three who shot a teenager who allegedly was breaking into her home.

Saturday????????? 6/02

Saturday Today is reduced to 1-hour due to French Open Tennis airing at 12noon. The Qubo children's programs Willa's Wild Life and Pearlie will air at 9:00am and 9:30pm. Early round coverage of French Open Tennis airs from 12:00noon - 3:00pm. That's followed by NBC Sports: Prefontane Classic with track and field events taking place in the meet named for the great athlete in Oregon who died tragically in his prime. NBC Sports: College Rugby Championship wraps the afternoon from 4:30pm - 6:00pm. WITN 7 News at 6 and NBC Nightly News air at their regular times while in prime time we will have NHL Stanley Cup Game #2: L.A.Kings @ New Jersey Devils?from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. A repeat episode of Saturday Night Live with Zooey Deschanel and Karmim will air at 11:30pm.

Sunday????????? 6/03

Today is dedicated to the Children's Miracle Network Celebration (Telethon) as we take the air at 7:00am and continue to tell stories of miracles and ask for pledges of support from 7:00am until 6:30pm. We will not be able to air Sunday Today, Meet The Press, French Open Tennis or Collegiate Rugby Championships, but you may be able to pick these up on WECT, WNCN, WAVY?or at www.nbcsports.com.?We return to regular programming when we join NBC Nightly News at 6:30pm. Dateline NBC will air from 7:00pm - 8:00pm?with a story about a former radio DJ who set out to sail around the world, but was found floating in the waters off Catalina Island. Then we have a couple of special programs starting out with Adele - Live in London from 8:00pm - 9:00pm with Matt Lauer conducting a one-on-one interview with the star and then six songs from her performance at the Royal Albert Hall. The Miss USA Pageant follows live from Las Vegas from 9:00pm - 11:00pm. Andy Cohen and Giuliani Rancic will host this special from the Planet Hollywood Resort as one lady is crowned Miss U.S.A. NC?Spin will air tonight at 12:00midnight in place of My?Heart Will Always Be in North Carolina. You may also catch a repeat telecast of Meet The Press at 3:00am (or set the DVR to record it!).

Monday????????? 6/04

The crew heads west deep into the heart of Texas?for America's Got Talent at 8:00pm as the auditions continue in Austin. The northeast regional finals take place for American Ninja Warrior in Miami (go figure) as the top 30 finishers from the Northeast battle it out for a chance to advance on to the finals in Las Vegas. Grimm follows at 10:00pm with Nick entering the heated world of fire dancing and finds that pursuing this case could damage his relationship with Juliette.

Tuesday??????? 6/05

We have another original episode of America's Got Talent at 8:00pm as the auditions continue in Austin, TX for judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel. At 9:00pm we have the 2-hour debut of this year's edition of Love in the Wild with new host Jenny McCarthy. The show starts off with fourteen single men and women paired up to begin the adventure, but then in a twist, seven more men are introduced and the are sent of on the adventure as trios of two men and one woman.

Wednesday????? 6/06

Betty White's Off Their Rockers is at 8:00pm with a senior seeking help to text an intimate message and a hung-over stewardess complaining about airline passengers. That's followed by a repeat episode of Up All Night with Christina Applegate and Will Arnett and their New Year's Eve game night?at 8:30pm. Law & Order: SVU is now schedule to air through the summer at 9:00pm?with a story of a home massacre that cause Detective Gillish to reveal secrets that might cost her job. Another episode of Law & Order: SVU follows?at 10:00pm with Harry Connick, Jr. joining the cast as Executive ADA Haden who develops a romantic interest in Detective Benson. Julia Louis-Dreyfus along with the 50th Anniversary edition of The Beach Boys will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Thursday??????????? 6/07

The Office is at 8:00pm and with several of the staff in Tallahassee, Andy makes the others stay late to finish up the day's work. Parks & Recreation is back on the schedule at 8:30pm for the summer with Ron taking the Pawnee Rangers into the wilderness. Saving Hope debuts at 9:00pm with a summer series that has Hope Zion hospital's chief of surgery Charlie Harris falling into a coma while his spirit wanders the hallways watching the staff fighting to keep patients and hope alive. Rock Center with Brian Williams returns to the schedule and will air on Thursday night's at this time for the summer and into the fall.

Friday?????????? 6/08

Daytime programming Anderson Cooper, WITN 7 News at Noon, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Days of Our Lives are preempted for French Open Tennis from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Whitney is back on the schedule at 8:00pm for the summer (and will air at this time in the fall). When Alex won't share the password to his phone, Whitney, who thinks they should share everything, becomes upset. Community is at 8:30pm (both this summer and fall) and Troy and Abed planning a unique apartment warming party. Dateline NBC will air from 9:00pm - 11:00pm with host Lester Holt introducing a couple of different stories for the evening.

Saturday???????? 6/09

Will "I'll Have Another" do it again. We have the third leg of the Triple Crown this Saturday. But first we have a 1-hour edition of Saturday Today that allows us to air final round coverage of?the French Open from 9:00am -?12:00noon. Our two children's programs Willa's Wild Life and Pearlie pop back into the schedule at 12:00noon and 12:30pm and then we have NBC Sports: Visa Championship (gymnastics) from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. NBC Sports: Adidas Grand Prix (track & field)?follows from 3:00pm - 4:30pm and then NBC's coverage of The Belmont Stakes now airs from 4:30pm - 7:00pm with "I'll Have Another" with a chance to win the Triple Crown for the first since the 1970's (Secretariat in 1973, Seattle Slew in 1977 and Affirmed in 1978). There will lots of pre-race coverage leading up to this, the longest race in the Triple Crown. Eleven horse have failed since 1978........ will this be the year? WITN 7 News will air at 7:00pm. Unless one team sweeps the series we will have the NHL Stanley Cup Game #5:?L.A. Kings @ New Jersey Devils?from 8:00pm - 11:00pm and then?another repeat episode of Saturday Night Live?from earlier this season at 11:30pm.

The French Open Final airs from 9:00am - 2:00pm and preempts Sunday Today, Meet The Press and NC Spin. The four Qubo children's shows missed on Saturday will air in the afternoon with The Zulu Patrol at 2:00pm. Shelldon at 2:30pm, Jane and the Dragon at 3:00pm and Babar at 3:30pm. NBC Sports: Visa Championship has the concluding events from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. In prime time its a 2-hour Dateline NBC from 7:00pm - 9:00pm followed by two repeat episodes of America's Got Talent at 9:00pm and 10:00pm as we get another chance to see the auditions from Austin, TX. An extra episode of Dateline (AN) airs at 3:00am since Meet The Press was preempted this week.

Monday?????6/11

We get one more chance to see the auditions from Austin, TX as another repeat episode of America's Got Talent airs at 8:00pm. That's followed at 9:00pm by American Ninja Warriors as the action heads back west to Venice, California with the 30 competitors out of the Northwest region battling for the few remaining slots for the finals coming up in Las Vegas. Grimm is at 10:00pm with detective Nick joining forces with Monroe to track down the creatures responsible for the murder of a spice shop owner. However, all of this is moot if the NHL Stanley Cup goes to 6 games in which case we will have NHL Stanley Cup Game #6: New Jersey at Los Angeles from 8:00pm - 11:00pm.

Tuesday????? 6/12

America's Got Talent has one more repeat airing of the auditions from Austin, TX at 8:00pm. The auditions head back to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area with an all new episode of America's Got Talent at 9:00pm as several more competitors seek a chance to go the semi-finals and attempt to grab the $1-million prize. Love in the Wild settles into its regular run at 10:00pm with the newly formed couples heading out into the Dominican jungle and facing a 40-foot cliff into murky waters.

Wednesday???? 6/13

If the Stanley Cup Series goes to seven games we will have NHL Stanley Cup: Game #7: L.A. Kings @ New Jersey tonight from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. Otherwise we will have Betty White's Off Their Rockers at 8:00pm with a sassy senior taking matters into her own hands when she doesn't like the music being played by a street performer. Then it's Up All Night at 8:30pm with Reagan determined to get Amy into the very best Pre-School. Law & Order: SVU at 9:00pm has Detective Benson calling on attorney Baylis (Andre Braugher) for legal help when her half-brother gets in a bind. Another episode of Law & Order: SVU follows at 10:00pm with a rape case that Benson solved several years ago being re-opened when it appears that a copy-cat crime has occurred.

Thursday??????? 6/14

We have 1st round coverage of U.S. Open Golf?from the Olympic Club outside San Francisco from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Peoples Court will air at 2:00pm in place of Rachael Ray. In prime time The Office kicks things off at 8:00pm with the Florida team getting ready to launch the new Sabre store. On Parks & Recreation at 8:30pm Leslie pulls everyone into?a plan to stage an attention-getting event. Saving Hope is at 9:00pm with Alex treating a young boy with mysterious ailments and Joel and Lin trying to help a patient who refuses treatment on religious grounds. Rock Center with Brian Williams wraps up the evening at 10:00pm.

Friday????? 6/15

Peoples Court airs again at 2:00pm. U.S. Open Golf coverage is provided from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Whitney airs at 8:00pm as Alex tries to take Whitney back to 2008 to recall the night they met. On Community at 8:30pm Jeff and Shirley form a bond over the foosball table while Annie tries to conceal the fact that she broke Abed's DVD. Dateline NBC then airs from 9:00pm - 11:00pm.

Saturday???? 6/16

Saturday Today returns to its 2-hour schedule from 8:00am - 10:00am. We have extreme sports action with NBC Sports: Red Bull 7: Nike Lowers Pro Surfing from 1:00pm - 2:00pm and then NBC Sports: AMA Motocross from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Golf Central Live airs from 3:00pm - 4:00pm and then we head out west to the San Francisco Bay area for 6 hours of U.S. Open Golf from 4:00pm - 10:00pm. The Firm airs at 10:00pm. Saturday Night Live continues in summer repeats at 11:30pm.

Sunday???? 6/17

We are back to our normal Sunday morning news schedule with Sunday Today at 9:00am, Meet The Press at 10:00am and NC Spin at 11:00am. Weekend Wheel of Fortune will air at 1:00pm and Jeopardy Weekend will air at 1:30pm. A USGA Movie: Jack's 1st Major looks back at the great U.S. Open Playoff between Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus that lead to Jack's first major. Golf Central Live is at 3:00pm to preview the final round of the U.S. Open. NBC Golf: U.S. Open will follow from 4:00pm - 10:00pm as the leading contenders play the final round. An episode of Betty White's Off Their Rockers is scheduled at 10:30pm if golf ends as scheduled.
