Evernote 5 for Mac Completely Overhauls Your Notebook with a New, Powerful Interface

By Whitson Gordon

OS X: Evernote released a beta of their new notes client for OS X today, with a completely redesigned interface that makes organizing your notes even easier, plus maps, smarter searching, and other new features.

The new client is a complete overhaul, and it?s a huge improvement on the old version of Evernote. You get a handy Shortcuts menu in the sidebar in which you can paste your favorite notes, tags, and notebooks fro quick access, as well as faster, smarter search for finding your notes right away. The new layout presents things in a very attractive, easy-to-browse way, too, and adds new features like a maps view, new ways to collaborate with others, and a lot more. Check out the video above to see the new features in action, or hit the link below to see how to download the beta.

Evernote 5 is a free beta download for OS X only.
